The play Trojan Women was selected to represent Sri Lanka at the 16th Bharat Rang Mahotsav which was held from 05th to 20th January 2014. It is an annual international theatre festival which was organized by the National School of Drama and the government of India.
Trojan Women was staged at Abhimanch Theatre, New Delhi on 08th January at 8.30 pm.
The performance was a huge succes with a full house of audience. Journalists, Diplomats, Theatre students and lecturers attended the performance.
A discussion "Meet the Directors" was held on 09th January at the NSD premises which was attended by the Director, cast and the audience.
The presentation of the play, acting and technical details were highly commended by the audience. The Director and the main actress shared their experiences of past 14 years with the audience.
Team left Delhi on 10th January 2014.
